WAN-IFRA's Digital Media Awards Asia recognises Asian publishers who have delivered unique and original digital media projects in the last 12 months. From new approaches to digital subscriptions, to impactful native advertising campaigns - projects that inspire us all.


The winners of the 2021 contest will be celebrated during WAN-IFRA's Digital Media Asia virtual conference taking place 24-26 August 2021.

Best Paid Content Strategy (incl. pay wall, membership or crowd funding models) *

Best in Audience Engagement *
Best Project for News Literacy *

Best Special Project for Covid-19

*Gold winners of these categories will automatically enter WAN-IFRA's World Digital Media Awards where they will compete with Gold winners from the African, European, Middle East, Latin American, North American and South Asian Digital Media Awards


Key Dates 

20 May 2021 - Registration opens
05July 2021, 12:00 SGT - Last day to register and upload your project (Extended)

09 July 2021 - Last day for any outstanding entry fees

26 July 2021 - Shortlisted winners will be notified

23 August 2021 -Winners will be announced and then recognised during Digital Media Asia 2021 (Virtual) on 24-26 August.
